Investigators say several incidents that happened at Shirley's Tippy Canoe before it was destroyed by fire make them believe the cause is suspicious.
The fire happened on Friday, January 17.
An alarm from the restaurant caused a deputy to be dispatched, but that deputy found nothing unusual and had to respond to another call. It was after that smoke was seen coming from the building.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No one was hurt in the fire. It caused $1 million in damage.
