Portland Police were called to 68th and Northeast Broadway Friday afternoon the investigate the death of a man.
They were called by a person who found the man's body.
It was located in a greenspace on the South side of Broadway.
Police say the circumstances appeared to be suspicious, so members of the Portland Police Bureau Detective Division's Homicide Detail responded to the scene along with criminalists from the Forensic Evidence Division, a member of the Oregon State Medical Examiner and a deputy district attorney from the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office.
The Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death as well as work to confirm the identity of the deceased.
