Storm Bringing Heavy Rain To NW Oregon

traffic i-5

Time to clear the gutters of leaves in the street near your house.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a storm on Saturday and Sunday that could bring up to two inches of rain to the Portland area.

The storm will also bring gusty winds, but they're not expected to be strong enough to cause major tree damage.

Leaves are starting to fall and the heavy rain could cause some localized flooding if leaves clog storm drains.

You're asking to clear the storm drains near your home or business to prevent water from backing up.

This starts a wet weather pattern for Oregon. Rain and showers are in the forecast the remainder of the week.

The forecast for Halloween night is calling for a chance of rain.
