A Molalla man is arrested for allegedly shooting a golden retriever in the face.
Last Friday, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office received a call from a person who reported their dog was missing.
The caller said Rudy, their Golden Retriever, was missing and that a neighbor, Preston Gorbett, had shot the dog in the face with a 44 magnum handgun.
The dog survived the shooting and is recovering at an animal hospital.
Gorbett is charged with Aggravated Animal Abuse in the First Degree.
