Cascades To Get Heavy Snow

The snow threat is over for the low lands this weekend. Freezing levels have move up to around 1,500 feet and the National Weather Service has lifted advisories for the lowest elevations.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Cascades. Saturday night between 8 and 16 inches of snow could fall and on Sunday another 12 to 24 inches could fall at pass level.

Snow levels in the Cascades will be around 2,000 feet.

On Sunday, strong winds are also forecast which could cause blowing snow and blizzard conditions.
