A 70-year-old woman who was using a walker was injured by a hit and run driver Tuesday morning.
The crash happened just after 5 a.m. at the intersection of S.E. 122nd and Division Street.
The woman who was hit is hospitalized and expected to survive her injuries
A witness followed the suspect's vehicle until police were able to stop it and take the driver into custody.
Police arrested as 25-year-old Weifu Ma of Portland. Ma was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Fail to Perform the Duties of a Driver -- Felony, Reckless Driving, Assault in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants.
