The investigation into a suspicious item at the Hollywood MAX station on Friday caused a major traffic jam on the East side.
I-84 westbound was closed at I-205 and that caused long delays on I-205 southbound and I-84 westbound approaching I-205.
The MAX Red, Blue and Green lines were stopped and shuttle buses moved passengers between the 7th Avenue Station and the Gateway Transit Center.
The Metro Explosives Disposal Unit sent its remote controlled robot onto the MAX platform to examine the item. A small explosive disable it. Police say it was not a device, but was made to look like a bomb.
Nearby businesses and I-84 were reopened.
Police are working to identify the person who left the bag.
