Police Believe Same Suspect In Two Robberies

Tuesday at approximately 4:33 p.m. Vancouver Police responded to an robbery at the Key Bank located at 13215 SE Mill Plain Blvd. 

A male entered the bank, approached the teller and yelled that he wanted money from the teller's drawer. The teller was unable to access her drawer and the suspect ran out of the bank on foot. No money was obtained. The suspect was described as a white male, 50s, 5'10, wearing a denim jacket black pants and a black hat. The suspect was not located. 

Approximately 40 minutes later, at 5:11 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to a robbery call at the Chase Bank located at 8203 NE Vancouver Mall Drive. A male subject entered the bank and told the teller that this is a robbery and he wanted money. The teller told the suspect no and he walked out. No money was obtained. The suspect was described as a white male, 50s, wearing a denim shirt and hat. The suspect was not located. 

Surveillance video captured images of the suspect in each of these robberies and it appears the same person is responsible for both robbery attempts.
