A swimmer went missing in the 3 Pools area of the North Fork River Monday afternoon. The 25 year old man was swimming with friends at the popular swimming destination when he did not resurface.
Search and rescue swimmers searched the pools, but were not been able to find the man who is presumed drowned. The 3 Pools Recreation Area is now closed and will remain closed until dive operations can be completed.
Divers will search the area Tuesday afternoon.
