Beaverton Police say the TV Highway will be closed most of Thursday between Murray Boulevard and Hocken Avenue, so PGE crews can replace a utility pole.
The driver that hit the pole had just purchased a Jeep. He was being followed by a friend, 24-year-old Michael Baca, when Baca rear-ended the Jeep sending it into the utility pole.
Baca was cited for not having a license, no insurance and careless driving.
There were no injuries.
