Blazers Collapse In Loss To Lakers

----- Lebron James finished with 37 points and 11 rebounds and Thomas Bryant scored 31 on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range as the Lakers outscore the Blazers 75-41 in the second half en route to a 121-112 victory Sunday night at Moda Center.

In a wild game Sunday night at Moda Center, Lebron James and the Lakers used an offensive explosion in the second half to defeat the Trail Blazers 121-112.

James finished with a game-high 37 points and 11 rebounds and Thomas Bryant added 31 on 12-of-15 shooting. Dennis Schroder chipped in 24 points and eight assists.

With Portland leading 71-46 at halftime, James was the architect of the Lakers comeback.

“I guess it’s only one or two ways, you can either go out and you can lay down and get ready for the next game or you can see what happens in the third quarter, make a game of it," James said. “And for us as competitors, and our team and our makeup this year, we’re not a lay-down team. That's just not the makeup of our club.”

Los Angeles outscored Portland 75-41 in the second half.

Anfernee Simons led Portland (21-25) with 31 points and Damian Lillard had 24 points and 10 assists. The Blazers have lost three-straight and seven of their last nine games.

“Right now, we're just not getting it done,” Lillard said when asked if the Blazers should try to deal before the trade deadline. “I do want to win. I don't think it's a secret that I want to win. I think we've got to do whatever we need to do to be in a position to win."
