Minneapolis A "City of Bricks" For The Blazers

----- Andrew Wiggins scores 23 points as the Minnesota Timberwolves improve to 7-1 at home with a 112-96 win over the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Trail Blazers did their best to stink up the Target Center on Friday night. The Blazers committed 18 turnovers and connected on just 42.0% of their field goals as the Minnesota Timberwovles delivered the Blazers their second-straight game with a 112-96 win.

Minnesota (7-9) took control of the game early with some hot shooting. The Timberwolves connected on 50.0% of their shots from the field including 12-for-28 from three-point range. Andrew Wiggins led the with with 23 points, Karl-Anthony Towns added 14 points and nine rebounds, and Derrick Rose scored 17 points off the bench.

Portland (10-5) got 18 points from CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard added 16. The Blazers never led in the game but pulled to within six in the third quarter, but Minnesota closed the quarter on a 21-11 run to put the game away.

With Seth Curry out of the rotation with a knee injury, Anfernee Simons got to dress up and play. Simons made the most of his time on the floor by scoring seven points on 3-for-7 shooting to go along with three rebounds.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play at the Washington Wizards on Sunday. The game is scheduled to tip off at 3:00 PM.
