CJ McCollum Roasts The Bulls

----- CJ McCollum scored 50 points as the Trail Blazers record their first four-game winning streak this season by routing the Chicago Bulls 124-108 Wednesday night at Moda Center.

CJ McCollum made history Wednesday night at Moda Center. McCollum scored a career-high 50 points in 29 minutes and set a franchise-record for points in a quarter by dropping 28 in the first quarter. The previous high for points in a quarter was 26, set by Damian Lillard last year when he scored a franchise-record 59 points against the Utah Jazz.

With the Blazers leading 102-75 after the third quarter, Terry Stotts made the decision to rest McCollum for the remainder of the game. This game was never in doubt. The Blazers led 43-19 after the first quarter and never looked back as they hammered the Bulls 124-108. The Blazers have now scored 100 or more points in 16-straight games, and with the win they secured their first four-game winning streak on the season.

Portland (29-22) connected on 56.1% of their field goals and are now 13-2 on the season when they shoot 50% or better for the field. The Blazers are now one-game behind Oklahoma City for fifth in the Western Conference playoff standings.

Next up- The Trail Blazers begin a three-game road trip Friday afternoon in Toronto against the Raptors. The game is scheduled to tip off at 4:30 PM.

Chad's take- CJ McCollum was special!
