Hawks Rip The Blazers

----- Dennis Schroder scores 22 points and 8 assists as the Atlanta Hawks drop the Portland Trail Blazers 104-89 Saturday night in Atlanta.

The Blazers season-long search for consistency continued Saturday night in Atlanta. The Hawks (10-26) entered the game with the worst record in the NBA, but that didn't stop them from outscoring Portland 58-37 in the second half en route to a 104-89 win.

The Hawks shot 44.9% from the floor but connected on 46.7% from downtown on 14-for-30 shooting. The Hawks forced 20 turnovers and outscored the Blazers 26-14 in the paint in the final quarter. Dennis Schroder scored 18 of his team-high 22 points in the second half.

Portland (18-17) got 21 points from Shabazz Napier and 18 from CJ McCollum. Al-Farouq Aminu was the only other player to score in double-figures with 10 points. The Blazers struggled to make shots and hit just one three-pointer in the second half.

Next up- The Trail Blazers will travel to Chicago where they will meet the Bulls on Monday. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.

Chad's take- This game was a big bowl of wrong.
