Thursday morning, Corvallis Police were responding to a report of a crash near the Foster Farms processing center. One of the drivers had fled the scene on foot.

Then a call came in about a shooting at the Foster Farms facility.

All of the employees had evacuated. Police surrounded the building and as Oregon State Police SWAT was heading to the area a man came out and peacefully gave up.

The suspect is identified as 22-year-old Adrian Nickerson. He's a temporary employee at the processing plant.

Police say he entered the building and fired a single shot in the women's restroom.

A woman who was in the restroom called 911 and alerted management who evacuated the building.

Police don't know why Nickerson fired the shot.

No one was hurt.
