The damage from Hurricane Michael to Mexico Beach and Panama City in Florida is catastrophic.
The storm surge was forecast to be as high as 14 feet. It lifted buildings from their foundations and moved them blocks away.
Winds stronger than 155 miles an hour ripped roofs and entire buildings apart.
As of Friday morning, 11 people had died as a result of the storm in all of the states that were affected.
In Florida, power is expected to be out for weeks in the areas that were hit hardest by the storm.
What's left of Michael has moved off the U.S. mainland and over the Atlantic. It's expected to hit Europe between France and Spain.
