Northern Lights Might Reach Oregon

A solar storm on the sun caused a large solar flare that might make the Northern Lights visible in Oregon.

The storm generated an M2 class solar flare that lasted more than two hours.

A coronal mass ejection appears to be headed toward Earth.

There is a slight chance this will make the Northern Lights visible in Oregon. The best chance to see it would be in Northeast Oregon on Sunday and Monday nights.
