An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire that damaged Reo’s Ribs at Northeast 42nd and Sandy Boulevard in Portland.
The restaurant was heavily damaged.
Investigators say it appears the fire may have started from an outside barbeque. Witnesses saw several people running from the scene shortly after the fire started. They want to know whether they had anything to do with the cause of the fire.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The owner of the restaurant, Reo Varnado, is the uncle of rapper Snoop Dogg.
