Lady A kicked off CMT Award night with the trio’s latest single “Like A Lady.”

Front-woman Hillary Scott rocked a summery, multi-colored dress as she launched the CMT awards with the empowering anthem — with bandmates Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, of course — and introduced country sweetheart Carly Pearce.

“We've written a lot of songs together over the last year that we can't wait to share with you but when Hillary sent us this one, we knew right away we wanted to lead with it,” the band previously wrote on Instagram. “This song reminds us of the unparalleled energy of the live show—something we miss every single day and can't wait to do again as soon as we can! We hope this song makes you want to get up, let loose and dance!!”

The powerful country artists were both up for awards during the night.

Lady A was up for the Duo/Group of the Year award with the “Like A Lady” single, and Pearce was up for the Female Video of the Year award for her single “Next Girl.”

The trio went up up against Brothers Osborne, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Parmalee and Blanco Brown, and Runaway June. The “I Hope You’re Happy Nowduet powerhouse is up against Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Mickey Guyton and Miranda Lambert.

Lady A lost out to beloved country quartet Little Big Town with "Wine, Beer Whiskey," and Barrett won Female Video of the Year for “The Good Ones."
