If you've been fortunate enough to receive one of the COVID vaccines already, you are probably well aware of how painful your arm can feel following the injection. So, how can you set yourself up to avoid some of the common side effects that come along with the vaccines?
Nurse mother-daughter duo Alexa & Anna Beth Fishman, who are behind the informative Instagram @abiohackersjourney, shared with Ryan Seacrest on-air on Friday, March 26, four helpful tips to consider when you get vaccinated.
The key to avoiding a dead arm? "Move your arm before the day of the injection, right before, right after, and then the next 12 hours," Alexa shared.
Another? "Cold showers are a must because they increase your white blood cell count which increases your immune response."
She also recommends intermittent fasting which promotes insulin resistance and, of course, don't sleep on taking your vitamins.
