Wife Arrested In Killing Of Portland Chef

The wife of a well known Portland chef has been arrested for his murder.

63-year-old Daniel Brophy was found shot at the Oregon Culinary Institute on Southwest Jefferson Street in Portland on Saturday June 2nd. 

Officers and medical personnel tried to save Brophy, but he died.

On Wednesday, members of the Portland Police Bureau Detective Division's Homicide Detail and Detective Coordination Team arrested 68-year-old Nancy L. Crampton-Brophy at her Washington County home for the murder of her husband.

Crampton-Brophy was lodged at the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Crampton-Brophy will be arraigned in Multnomah County Court on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
