Three Oregon State Beaver alums will be on Super Bowl 52 Rosters. New England WR Brandin Cooks, who played at Oregon State from 2011-13, caught six passes for 100 yards in the 24-20 win over Jacksonville last weekend . He caught 65 passes for 1,082 yards during the regular season. The 2013 Biletnikoff Award winner is playing in his first Super Bowl.
Issac Seumalo and Josh Andrews will both be playing in their first career Super Bowls as well. Seumalo played for Oregon State from 2012 to 2015, while Andrews was on the Beavers' offensive line from 2010-13. Seumalo played in 14 regular season games for the Eagles in 2017, starting twice, while Andrews has been on the team's practice squad. He played in 16 games for Philadelphia from 2015-16.
Super Bowl 52 will be played in Minneapolis on Sunday February 4th and will be broadcast on NBC.
The game will feature the first use of the dual skycam system, including the high cam about 45 to 60 feet above the field, during the Super Bowl. For the first time in the United States, 3D imaging of key players from each team will be used during the game, NBC said.
