The Trail Blazers Rip City Relay invaded Dallas on Thursday. Team representatives visited local schools and held a "Rip City Fair" in front of City Hall, greeting hundreds of Blazers fans and giving away dozens of pieces of Trail Blazers gear and memorabilia.
The event featured a youth skills challenge, a 3-point shootout, an opportunity for fans to pose with the team's 1977 NBA Championship trophy, and a Q&A with team broadcasters.
The Relay began Monday in Coos Bay, then made stops in Florence and Newport before visiting Dallas on Thursday. The festivities wrap up Friday in McMinnville with another "Rip City Fair" from 4-6pm in front of City Hall.
